Greta Hauer is a designer and researcher interested in means of enacting alternative futures by combining ethnographic  research with speculative thinking.

Her practice examines existing systems by tracing their geographical, political and ecological changes and their often unseen impact on society. Projects may result in a variety of media including text, real life simulations, film, events, and architectural interventions.

Since 2022 she is a Policy Analyst at the EU Policy Lab, Joint Research Centre at the European Commission - a space driving cross-disciplinary exploration and innovation in policymaking.
